Exemplary Student Work
This is an example of an exemplary student poster presentation. The poster covers all possible aspects of binary ionic compounds including the definition, graphic representations, how to name a binary ionic compound, the use of the empirical formula, how to do the criss-cross method for writing the empirical formula from the ions. The examples provided are correct and well written. The poster hit all the points I was looking for as well as the extra point of how to name a binary ionic compound. Students had good use of color and space and were well prepared for their presentation with notecards and they covered all topics in the presentation as well as the poster.
